Publisher: Raipur Asian Pharma Press 2021Edition: Vol.11(1), Jan-Mar.Description: 13-16p.Subject(s): PHARMACEUTICSOnline resources: Click here In: Asian journal of pharmaceutical researchSummary: A simple, robust, reliable, and economical method for Itraconazole as UV spectrophotometric estimation in bulk and tablet dosage form was developed using the method of absorbance ratio and validated according to the ICH guidelines. In the present analysis, Itraconazole was calculated using the absorbance values at 262nm. The findings of the study were statistically checked for Linearity, precision, exactness, LOD and LOQ. The procedure was found to be linear in the concentration range of 2-14µg/ml through a 99.40 per cent Itraconazole recovery. The results of the validation parameters also showed that the proposed method was found to be effective, precise, reproducible, responsive and suitable for regular quality assurance analyzes for Itraconazole in bulk and solid estimation.
